President

Easter has passed; the Eclipse is gone; snow is gone. Warm weather is ahead, and Vagabond activities are full steam ahead for spring and summer.
But let’s take a step backward first, and say thank you to members who have been volunteering this winter to lead hikes, ski trips and bowling, plan social events (dinners/fish fries, theater, Over the Hump), racquet sports parties, Game Night, Scrabble and ski racing, and work at our welcome table. Thank you for your time, planning and organizing activities. And thank you to our board of directors, coordinators, and Life newsletter staff for the wonderful work they do.
At this time, we extend thanks to our volunteers who have been busy organizing spring and summer events: golf leagues, racquet sports, biking, dinners, theater, Over the Hump, baseball game, weekly walks and trips. Without volunteers, we would not be able to offer anything to the club.
May 1 is our Annual Club Meeting and election night for the board of directors. Information about the candidates is in this newsletter. Please read about the election and thenVOTE online. Voting is also available at the meeting up until 6:59 p.m. Election results will be announced at the meeting. See you May 1.

Mary Beth Braun
I’ve been on the board for the past four years, serving as president last year and sporting director for four years. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with our board members, and I have come to know so many members through events.
I have talked to you and listened, and because of this our club has brought back some old events and brought in some new ideas. We always want to move the club along for everyone’s enjoyment. Your participation in events makes my efforts worthwhile. I am running for a second term as president and ask for your vote. I will continue to work for you, and I will always be looking for opportunities to advance the Club.

I have been a member since 2011 and been Membership Director since 2015. I have enjoyed working with all the members and would like to continue serving the club. I would appreciate your vote
Denise Kremel
I have been a member of the Vagabonds since 2005. I have previously served on the board as Sporting Activities Director and Vice President and the last two years as Social Activities Director. I have continued to run a yearly weekend bike trip. I have also run many other events over the years. I have decided to run for one last term for the board to help our club move forward. My hope is others will also volunteer to help our board of directors. It would be an honor to serve on the board again.

I am new to the club and am very happy to be a member of such a nice club. I have found you to be a very wonderful group of people. My work life was as a registered nurse. I like to help people. I have been a member of several groups, including my church, condo association and the Lions Club.I like to be active; I enjoy tennis, Pickleball, dancing, traveling and being with nice people.
This club will give me an opportunity to contribute again. I realize it takes many people to run such a nice organization.I want to be a person who helps make the Vagabonds thrive.I would appreciate your consideration and your vote so I can help people like you.

• Go to VagabondSkiClub.com and click Members Only Access in the Popular Links box on the righthand side.
• Click the icon at the upper right and log in to your account.
• Click View Profile
• Click Edit Profile
• Scroll down to Vagabond Life Newsletter and check the box next to Electronic. (When the box is checked, you are receiving the Life via email.)
• Click SAVE
Using the Wild Apricot app on a smartphone or tablet:
• Open the Wild Apricot app
• Tap My Profile
• Tap the More icon (3 dots side by side near the top)
• Click Edit Profile
• Scroll down and tap Vagabond Life Newsletter
• Tap Electronic. (When the box is checked, you are receiving the Life via email.)
• Click SAVE at the top of the screen.
It’s a good idea to check your profile page and update any information that has changed. Be sure your emergency contact information is current also.
